Martin Panosch was born on 3 December 1967 in Schwarzach/Pongau. He studied law at the University of Salzburg which he passed with distinction. As from 1992, Mr. Panosch was assistant professor for civil law and European law at the University of Salzburg where he became expert on tenancy law in 1994 before being elected municipal councillor and, in 2004, town councillor. In 2009, he was elected deputy mayor of the capital city of Salzburg.

Martin Panosch is married and Father of four children.
